The UC Merced Annual Symposium of Inclusive Excellence is a celebration of diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice. This event provides a platform for showcasing the research and creative contributions of UC Merced's students, faculty, post-doctoral scholars, and research centers. Through various interactive sessions, the symposium highlights the richness of diverse perspectives, with presentations and creative projects focused on topics like multilingual research, women in STEM, equity and justice, and BIPOC faculty contributions. The event not only honors the work of its participants but also creates opportunities for networking and recruitment for future research fellowships and programs. The event is designed to inspire collaboration, recognize excellence, and reinforce UC Merced’s commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive academic community.
