UROC Academic Year Research Award
Funding for academic year research is provided by The UC Merced Academic Senate and UC Merced Board of Trustees to support undergraduate students in conducting faculty-mentored research during the academic year. This funding is not connected to any program and is open to students across all disciplines. This initiative is supported by UROC and the Division of Undergraduate Education.
AY Research Funding Award - $1,500.00 per semester
Deadline to Submit: Application closed for 2023-2024 Academic Year
Eligibility:
- Endorsed by UC Merced Faculty Mentor (FM) prior to submission
- Your UC Merced faculty mentor will receive an automated email after you submit to confirm they will mentor you on a project.
- Currently enrolled UC Merced Undergraduate Student
- Research must NOT conflict with the scholar's academic year studies
- If awarded, the student may NOT receive credit or additional funding for the same research
