University of Florida's Campus Visitation Program

The Office of Graduate Minority Programs (OGMP) is hosting its annual Fall Campus Visitation Program. We are calling all underrepresented minority students who have a desire to pursue a doctoral degree at the University of Florida. The University of Florida will provide lodging for two nights, most meals, and a reimbursement of up to $500 in airfare or mileage. We will also reimburse the UF Graduate School Application fee. This two-day event is aimed at giving prospective PhD students the opportunity to engage with the UF community as well as gain insight on graduate admissions, financial aid, and graduate social life. Applicants must complete an official UF graduate school application before applying to CVP. All CVP applications are reviewed by a committee and decisions will be made 4 weeks after the application deadline.

Requirements:

1.         An official UF graduate application

2.         Transcripts

3.         Test scores

4.         3 Faculty members whose research is appealing

5.         Proof of UF graduate application completion and proof of payment (attach as a picture or PDF file)
