As the campus responds to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the UROC office has decided to host the Summer Undergraduate Research Institute (SURI) completely remote for this summer. SURI workshops and development will be online to provide graduate school preparation.
The Summer Research Symposium will be postponed until Fall semester, so it will not take place during the summer programs. The date and information will be shared with students and faculty mentors later this summer.

Faculty Mentors
We hope faculty are able to conduct remote research and include SURI students with the possibility of academic year research projects. If you have research projects available and are willing to mentor a student this summer please add a brief overview to the UROC Portal https://urocportal.ucmerced.edu with “UROC Summer Opportunity” in the description.
