  • 2015 Diversity Summer Internship Program at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health

    We invite you to apply for the 2015 Diversity Summer Internship Program at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. The Diversity Summer Internship Program (DSIP) was established in 1995 to provide a graduate-level independent research experience in biomedical and/or public health research to undergraduate students under the direct mentoring of established Johns Hopkins researchers. The ten-week program typically runs from the end of May through the first week in August.

  • Boise State REU in Mathematics

    What: The NSF-REU Program in Mathematics will be holding a nine week summer program in which undergraduate students experience independent research in mathematics motivated by applications to information security or genome biology.  The program aims to immerse undergraduate students of diverse backgrounds in all facets of research in mathematics, and in applications to information security or the life sciences in a culture of close and daily collaboration with faculty. The nature of computing and complexity is the central unifying focus of the program.

  • Opportunities in Genomic Research Undergraduate Scholars Program/OGR Extensive Study Program

    The Opportunities in Genomics Research (OGR) is seeking bright, innovative and talented students to participate in its summer or postbaccalaureate research program. The goal of the OGR is to increase the number of underrepresented students who pursue PhDs in genomics and related fields. Interested students can apply to the OGR Undergraduate Scholars Program (an 8-week summer research program) or the OGR Extensive Study Program (one-year postbaccalaureate program).

    What: The University of Kansas has many interesting summer REU research programs, such as: Chemical and Petroleum Engineering, Chemistry, Molecular Biosciences, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and Models in Evolution, Ecology, & Systematics.

    Who: Undergraduate students who are seeking to participate in summer research outside of California.  Different requirements for each REU program
