About Harvard School of Public Health's New Summer Program, FACETS
This 4-week summer program, June 16 - July 11, 2014 is the first school-wide program for undergraduates at HSPH. Students are able to select the department(s) that interest them most and will work on a group research project with a faculty mentor in the related field.
This program is designed specifically to recruit, engage and retain students from groups historically underrepresented in Ocean Science. I am interested in having students from groups underrepresented in the Ocean Sciences and students from institutions where research opportunities are limited (Junior/Community Colleges, Tribal Colleges, HBCUs and HSIs) participate in this new REU. The program is geared towards rising sophomores and juniors.
We would like to take this opportunity to let you know that we have a new summer research opportunity sponsored by the ACCESS/Biosciences graduate program, which has recently been reorganized and expanded(https://www.uclaaccess.ucla.edu/pages/).
